Job Description
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for an AI-Native Growth & Brand Operator who can personally go from:
consumer insight → idea → creative → campaign → landing page → distribution → data → iteration.
What you will own
You will own the intersection of:
- Growth
- Brand
- Creative
- Content
- PR / earned media
- Social distribution
- Influencers / creators
- Founder-led content
- Performance marketing
- Landing pages and conversion
- Referral and affiliate growth
- Growth experiments
- AI-powered marketing workflows
You will not be boxed into traditional marketing functions.
If something can create demand, attention, trust, or conversion, it is within your mandate.
What the role looks like
You might spend one morning analyzing hundreds of customer conversations to identify a new positioning angle.
That afternoon, you might turn that insight into:
- 10 ad concepts
- 3 videos
- a landing page
- a founder post
- a creator brief
- a PR angle
- an experiment running by the end of the day
Then you read the signal, kill what fails, and scale what works.
We value speed of learning more than perfection.
What we expect you to do
1. Find the messages that move people
Understand parents deeply.
Identify their fears, desires, frustrations, contradictions, language, and buying triggers.
Continuously test positioning, messaging, offers, and narratives.
2. Build a high-velocity creative engine
Produce and test large volumes of creative using AI.
Turn one strong insight into multiple:
- ads
- UGC concepts
- videos
- social posts
- landing pages
- campaigns
- creator content
You should be able to make things yourself, not only brief other people.
3. Build TeenCare‘s brand while growing revenue
Create campaigns that make TeenCare distinctive and memorable.
Help build Carie into a recognizable consumer brand.
Make every growth activity strengthen the brand rather than becoming disposable performance marketing.
4. Create organic and earned distribution
Find ways to earn attention without simply buying it.
This includes:
- founder-led content
- creator partnerships
- viral formats
- proprietary data and insights
- PR
- cultural commentary
- research
- partnerships
- stunts
- community loops
- referral mechanics
5. Own growth experiments
Continuously identify, launch, and evaluate experiments across the funnel.
You should naturally think in:
hypothesis → experiment → signal → decision
not endless planning.
6. Improve conversion
You should be comfortable improving:
- landing pages
- trial offers
- onboarding
- CTAs
- pricing presentation
- funnel structure
- messaging
- checkout flows
You do not need to be an engineer.
You do need to be able to build or prototype quickly using AI tools.
The person we want
We care far more about raw capability than title or years of experience.
You are likely:
- extremely smart
- highly curious
- commercially minded
- AI-native
- fast-moving
- intellectually independent
- obsessed with consumer psychology
- strong at writing
- visually literate
- comfortable with numbers
- unusually resourceful
- able to make things yourself
- difficult to impress
- willing to challenge bad ideas
You have strong taste but are not precious about your work.
You would rather ship 20 experiments and learn than spend a month debating one campaign.
AI-native means AI-native
We expect AI to be part of how you operate every day.
You should already be using tools such as:
- ChatGPT / Claude
- Codex or similar AI coding tools
- AI research workflows
- image generation tools
- AI video tools
- Figma / Canva
- automation tools
- analytics tools
We are less interested in which specific tools you use than in this question:
What can you now accomplish alone that previously required five people?
You may come from
There is no required career path.
Great candidates may have been:
- a startup founder
- a growth operator
- a creator
- an indie hacker
- a brand strategist
- a product marketer
- a performance marketer with strong creative instinct
- a journalist or storyteller with commercial instinct
- an agency creative
- a product person
- an AI builder
We care about evidence of exceptional execution.
This role is probably NOT for you if
- You mainly manage agencies or vendors.
- You need a large team before you can execute.
- Your strength is project coordination.
- You prefer extensive planning before shipping.
- You cannot personally create content or campaigns.
- You think brand and performance marketing should operate separately.
- You use AI occasionally rather than as a core working tool.
- You are uncomfortable being judged by commercial outcomes.
How success will be measured
Your scoreboard is not impressions.
You will ultimately be measured on:
- growth in qualified demand
- CAC
- conversion
- trial volume and quality
- branded demand
- organic reach
- creative hit rate
- growth experiment velocity
- revenue contribution
The goal is to build a compounding demand engine, not just generate short-term traffic.
What you will have
You will work directly with the founder.
You will have access to:
- thousands of existing families
- real customer conversations and behavioral data
- Carie, TeenCare‘s AI parenting companion
- TeenCare‘s mentor network
- product and engineering resources
- paid media budget
- creators and freelancers
- AI tools
- freedom to experiment
You will have unusually wide latitude.
In return, we expect unusually high ownership.
How to apply
Do not send us a generic cover letter.
Send us:
- The most impressive thing you have personally built, grown, or launched.
- One example of how you use AI to do work that previously required several people.
- Something you have made — a campaign, product, video, website, experiment, account, project, or business.
Show us what you can do.
Credentials matter less than evidence.
