The Role

You will lead engineering at TeenCare — owning system architecture, execution speed, and team performance.

We’ve already built and shipped. The challenge now is to scale the system without breaking speed — across product expansion, international growth, and AI complexity.

What You’ll Do

1. Own System Architecture

• Design and evolve backend + frontend systems for scale
• Ensure reliability, performance, and data integrity
• Build foundations for AI-driven products (LLM, agents, data pipelines)

2. Drive Execution Speed

• Set engineering standards and development processes
• Reduce cycle time from idea → production
• Partner closely with product and ops to ship fast

3. Build and Lead the Team

• Hire, manage, and level up engineers
• Set a high performance bar and clear expectations
• Create a culture of ownership and accountability

4. Ship AI-Native Products

• Integrate LLMs and data pipelines into core product
• Turn raw behavioral data into usable features
• Build systems that improve over time

5. Ensure Product Quality

• Own system stability, uptime, and bug resolution
• Implement monitoring, logging, and QA processes
• Prevent technical debt from slowing down growth

What We’re Looking For

Must-have:

• 5+ years in software engineering, with leadership experience
• Strong hands-on ability (backend or fullstack) — you still ship production code
• Experience building and scaling real-world systems
• Proven ability to hire and manage engineers
• Comfortable operating in fast-moving, ambiguous environments

Strong plus:

• Experience with AI/LLM or data-heavy products
• Startup experience (0→1 or 1→10 scaling)
• Experience with real-time or high-frequency systems
