We believe that great learning outcomes start with great educators. As TeenCare scales, we are looking for a Teaching Staff Manager to build, develop, and manage a high-performing teaching workforce that can consistently deliver meaningful impact for students and families.

WHY THIS ROLE EXISTS

This role exists to ensure that TeenCare always has the right teachers, mentors, and instructors available to meet student demand while maintaining exceptional teaching quality, professional standards, and learning outcomes.

You will own both the supply and performance of our teaching team.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

1. Teaching Workforce Capacity

  • Forecast teaching demand based on company growth and enrollment plans.
  • Partner with the Talent Acquisition team to ensure a healthy teacher pipeline.
  • Manage teaching resource allocation across programs.
  • Ensure sufficient teaching capacity for:
    • 1:1 Academic Mentors
    • Life Skills Teachers for group classes
    • Physical Education Instructors
    • New and future TeenCare programs
  • Monitor teacher availability, utilization, and workforce planning.

Success Metrics

  • 100% fulfillment of teaching demand.
  • Zero class cancellations due to teacher shortages.
  • Healthy teacher capacity to support business growth.

2. Teaching Quality & Performance Management

  • Build and manage a teacher performance evaluation system.
  • Monitor teaching effectiveness through student outcomes and customer feedback.
  • Conduct regular coaching, training, and performance reviews.
  • Implement improvement plans for underperforming teachers.
  • Develop career pathways and retention strategies for top-performing educators.

Professional Standards & Discipline

  • Teaching SLA Compliance

3. Build a Scalable Teaching Management System

  • Design and improve teacher onboarding, training, and evaluation processes.
  • Establish teaching standards and quality assurance frameworks.
  • Build dashboards to track teacher performance and operational metrics.
  • Collaborate with Academic, Operations, and Product teams to continuously improve teaching effectiveness.

4. Build a High-Performance Teaching Culture

  • Foster a culture of accountability, continuous learning, and student-first thinking.
  • Recognize and develop high-potential teachers.
  • Create an environment where educators are motivated to grow and excel.

REQUIREMENTS

  • 3+ years of experience in education management, teacher management, academic operations, or related fields.
  • Proven experience leading teachers, mentors, trainers, or instructional teams.
  • Strong coaching and people development capabilities.
  • Data-driven mindset with experience managing performance through KPIs.
  • Ability to build systems and processes in a fast-growing environment.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and stakeholder management skills.
  • Experience in EdTech, Education, Coaching, or Learning & Development is a strong advantage.
